We all know someone who has struggled to fight cancer, and probably some who have been defeated by it. But also probably some who have, through the sort of research and care provided by organisations like The Christie, are still living to tell the tale.

Personally I lost both my parents-in-law to cancer, over 30 years ago, much younger than they should have been taken from us.

I also have two dear friends who have survived and emerged stronger than before. As well as some for whom the fight goes on. 

The Christie charity provides life-changing work to support cancer patients and more than 44,000 cancer patients are treated at The Christie every year.

So many people are affected by Cancer every day, either first hand, or through a family member or friend.

Your support can help The Christie to fund potentially life-saving projects, that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.
