Tragically 14 babies die before, during or shortly after birth every day in the UK. I'm doing #Challenge14 to help save babies' lives.

When our daughter Olive was stillborn in May 2018 Sands provided us with all of the information we never imagined we would need to guide us through such a terrible time. From our time in hospital, to organising Olive's funeral and eventually returning to work, Sands provided us with the clear and practical support that we needed. For this and all the other amazing and vital work they do in research, training and raising awareness Chris and I want to say a huge thank you and do something to help that work continue.

On Saturday 29th February 2020 we are going to walk from Lewes railway station to Litlington along the South Downs Way. Taking the route from Lewes station, through Kingston it's just over 14 miles to Litlington. Fingers crossed that the weather's ok... Please give whatever you can to support this fantastic charity.

#Challenge15 was created two years ago to challenge the appalling fact that 15 babies died each day. But thanks to many incredible fundraisers, supporting the work Sands does, Sands has played a crucial role in helping reduce the number of babies dying each day to 14.This new year I am part of something amazing. I'm taking on #Challenge14 and making this number matter.
