Story

Thanks for clicking on my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 28th June I will be running (jogging!) the 25K Grand Union Canal Challenge from Watford to Tring. Yes, the route does pass my local pub and home in Berkhamsted, but my aim is to stay focused and keep on going all the way to Tring. It's going to be tough!

The reason I am taking on this challenge is to raise money for the Michael Sobell Hospice and also to support my friend, Claire Sanders, who is taking on the 50K challenge.

The Michael Sobell Hospice cared for Claire's mum, Judy, last year and is therefore close to my heart. Donations will be gratefully received and as it is a small charity your money can make a big difference.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
