So Jessie J is shaving her head for Comic Relief this year and although I do not have the courage (nor access to wigs) that she has I have been inspired!

After years of keeping my hair long, when plaited my hair length currently measures 46cms (18inches) hairband to tip.  If you show your support with donations via this page I will chop off my plait on Saturday 16th March - literally the scissors will cut at the base of the hairband no messing around!! The added benefit of doing it this way is that the hair can be sent onto Locks of Love, a UK Charity that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hairloss from any diagnosis - so its a win win?......

 

Well no there's more, my husband and mum are not happy for me to have such a drastic cut and have in fact offered to donate money to make me KEEP my hair.  So as an added bit of fun, please can you donate with your choice to CUT or KEEP and at midday on Saturday 16th March, the hair will be chopped or not depending on how many votes are received for each.
