My little brother died on 14 July 2011 at 5.25pm, aged just 23. He was a passenger in a car with which a motorbike collided, and died instantly.

Pete's death should never have happened. The motorbike was stolen and the driver was just 16 therefore underage and driving illegally.

The love for Pete is still immense to this day, and I'm so proud to call someone who made such a huge, positive impact on people my brother. He was so well loved, and the pain that has been felt by my family, Pete's girlfriend and his friends has been unbearable.

Brake are a great charity who are fighting to make UK roads safer, increase sentences for those that break the law and support victims and their greiving families. 

So, myself and eight others are running the British 10k run in London on 8th July 2012 in memory of my brother.
