I'm running the 2018 London Marathon to help raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK. My cousin Hannah has a son Jenson who is only 5 years old and was diagnosed with this muscle wasting disease in February 2016.

Jenson is just like any other 5 year old boy, full of mischief, fun and adventure. He has an extremely cheeky nature that you cannot help but fall in love with him. Sadly for Jenson and many others like him there is as of yet no cure for this awful condition.

Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a muscle wasting condition that results in premature death. The death age can vary from any where in their teens to their 30's. The cause of death is normally Cardiac and/or Respiratory failure due to the heart being the most important muscle in the human body.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated and will help find ways to change lives and raise awareness.
