Jay was a close friend of both my children, who lost his long battle with cancer in April 2020 when he was just 8 years old.

Jay started primary school with my daughter. Jay introduced us to Pokémon, Minecraft, Nerf and Marvel. His bravery, positivity and fun loving personality will always inspire us.

When I started running I dreamed of one day running the London Marathon and I knew I would want to support a charity that made a difference to Jay and his family. Young Lives vs Cancer made a huge impact on Jay's family and funded their amazing nurse specialist Lyndsay. Money raised for this charity will help others going through childhood cancer.

I am immensely proud and honoured to be running the marathon in his memory. Thank you for supporting me raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer.
