At the Lancashire Evening Post we are helping the Space Centre in Preston raise vital funds to stay open.

A funding shortfall at the centre, which helps thousands of disabled children and adults across Lancashire, has suspended its expansion plans and threatened the centre’s future altogether.

To help keep this vital service running, I am taking on the inaugural RideLondon 100-mile cycle sportive, which follows the route of the 2012 Olympic road race.

All the money raised is going to the Space Centre ensure this vital service can continue to change the lives of thousands of local people.
