Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On this years Armed Forces Week, what better way to demonstrate my continued support of this nation's Armed forces Community by attempting this challenge on Armed Forces Day itself.

As a trustee at The Buchanan Trust, I'm raising funding that is used to help those who have served in the Armed Forces, enabling them to transition into civilian life by offering short term accommodation, accredited training, skills, work experience and employment opportunities in the rural and construction sectors.

I was due to run the Cardiff Half Marathon earlier this year, but due to being postponed as a result of COVID, I've upped the ante and plan to run the Cotswold Way 100kms in June 2021.

All donations received will go towards our next veteran accommodation project; ranging from ecology and building survey reports, through to physical construction of these new cottages.  This follows our successful and most recent project, where we built four new, Almshouse veteran cottages.
