On 24th June 2023 I will be cycling from Coxhoe (Durham) to Wakefield around 99 miles to raise money for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund. Ian wanting to raise as much money as possible for this charity as a continued thank you  for their support and care that they showed my parents during their time of need. They supported my parents when my dad was ill and struggling to get about and support his self both physically and mentally. 

On 23rd November 2018 my dad Paul evenden sadly passed away following a long six months of difficulties with his heart. My dad was an ex service man stationed out of a number of sites but primarily 5sqd Binbrook.  The RAFBF provided much needed adaptions to my dads life to support with getting out and seeing people and without them his mental and physical health would have been a lot worse.
