Story
As most of you know I didn't do Christmas cards this Christmas and donated the money I would have spent to St Mungo's homeless charity (London's largest homeless charity http://www.mungos.org ) instead to help make a difference at Christmas.
As some of you know, we (3 mad and easily led friends of mine and myself) were planning to take to the streets of London on the 3rd December. Unfortunately this was called off because we could not get permission to sleep in a public place in London. After 3 months we finally have permission to take to the streets of Bethnal Green on 12th March.
Although this will not be exactly like being homeless as we will have as many blankets, jumpers and flasks of teas as we can carry and will only be taking to the streets for 12 hours between 8pm and 8am. We aim to raise awareness of the difficulties and dangers that the homeless face and raise some money for this important but sometimes over looked cause.
