Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am Ladies Captain of Kings Norton Golf Club this year and next year!!  As Lady Captain we chose a charity and spend our two years raising money for it.  My chosen charity is Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove.  My aim is to raise as much money for them as I can in my two years as Ladies Captain.  They do an incredible job for the community supporting people at the end of their life.  However, they rely very heavily on fund raising.

Last year I fell (yes, off a Segway!!) and stupidly broke my ankle just two weeks before the Birmingham Half Marathon.  That put a stop to any further running and I'm afraid I let all my sponsors down.  However, I did enter the Edinburgh Half Marathon in May this year and ran that in lieu!! Now, I am attempting the Birmingham one again and am taking great care this time to not do anything stupid!  I would be eternally grateful if you would sponsor me, just a little, to help me run the 13 miles and raise some money for Primrose Hospice.  The more money I can raise, the less likely I will be to give up!!  Many thanks.
