Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My Dad died of prostate cancer in 1999, I really miss him. In his youth he was a good cross country runner. Sadly I didn't inherit his athletic abilities so why not take pity on me and sponsor me to stumble round my hometown in the Great Manchester Run on 16 May.
My Dad had a real talent for art and when I was little he used to draw pictures of chimps for me. He really cared about animals and the natural world, especially the great apes. That's why I am collecting for Born Free in his memory. Born Free is at the core of the UN's GRASP (Great Ape Survival Partnership) working to save gorillas, bonobos, chimps and orangutans from imminent extinction.
I'm also collecting for the Prostate Cancer charity in my Dad's memory, if you'd rather donate to this cause please visit www.justgiving.com/KarenKenworthy .
