Story
Yes, I did do it!!! Despite a moderate amount of training and a broken hand (fell over while running 8 days before the marathon!). My official finish time of 4h57m46s included 8 loo stops..... I was fairly pleased with how it all went considering.
Please don't hold back on the sponsorship front, it's never too late and there will always be homeless people to benefit from your kind donations.
I'll just lounge about for a few days, wearing my medal... Actually, I started jury service the next day!!!!!! Fortunately, my legs are fine so I'm not creaking every time I try to move.
And a huge thanks to all my friends who've already sponsored my efforts and those who have still to do so (but I know you will).

Jamie McCoy was homeless for a long time. He talks about the issues in a way that only someone who's been there can.
