Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I was unable to run the Royal Park's Half Marathon in October due to injury. I wanted to honour all the generous donations that have been made and continue to raise money. As a result I am now running the Reading Half Marathon in March and the Plymouth Half Marathon in May! I want to thank everyone who has sponsored me so far and hope I can continue to add to the total.

Since signing up to do the run I am devastated to say that Dad peacefully passed away on 1st February 2010. His suffering came to an end surrounded by his 3 girls. Dad was an inspiration and died as he lived, with dignity. He was a brave, courageous man and to run a half marathon is the least I can do to honour my Dad. In supporting the MNDA it gives me hope that research may ensure others may not have to suffer such a brutal disease. My heartfelt thank go to all of you who have contributed to my fundraising.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Motor Neurone Disease Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
