Story
This charity is very close to our hearts for the whole company.
Jenna and I both work for Stride Ltd/Mi Property, our colleague Stuart Piper sadly passed away with a brain tumour whilst he was working for Stride Ltd, he was very dedicated member of staff and loved by everyone.
The Rowans Hospice helped Stuart and his family. We would like to raise as much money as we can for this worthy cause.
We are both looking forward to the 10 mile challenge, bring it on.
A little below tells you more on how The Rowan's Hospice helps everyone:
Rowans Hospice Charity provides free care and support to adults in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire who have a life-limiting illness, and their families. This event is an opportunity for our local community to come together for a fun evening to generate income for the Charity as well as an opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one.Participants will complete their walk or run under the stars, taking in some of the most historic sites around Old Portsmouth and Southsea, on Saturday, 18 June 2022.The Charity's reliance on voluntary donations remains critical in the aftermath of the COVID-19 Pandemic and we are calling upon the local community for help to raise vital and much-needed income by raising £100 (each/per family) in sponsorship if they are able to. All income generated through the Moonlit Memories Event will support the future of Rowans Hospice Charity.
