British 10k London Run 2007 · 1 July 2007 ·

We conduct world class medical research projects. We diagnose and treat thousands of people with epilepsy every year. We do this and much more. We are the UK’s national medical epilepsy charity. With Epilepsy Society, you don’t have to deal with epilepsy alone.

Story

1st July update...

Woohoo!  I did it - and a personal best time of 1 hr 5 mins!!!  It was a fantastic experience - so many thanks to all who supported me, with money, with presence and with their conviction.

And after 6 weeks off the booze in my final training prep, let me assure you that the malt whisky went down very smoothly this evening!

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Epilepsy is the most common neurological condition but is often misunderstood.  The NSE is the largest charity for people with epilepsy and is involved in an exciting international genetics research programme.  We need your support to build a Genetics Research Centre at our Chalfont Headquarters.

I started running for the first time at Christmas... so 10K feels like an awfully long way!  But I'm determined to make it round ahead of the sweepers clearing up after the runners.

My first donation was from a fellow runner who overtook me and recognised the NSE from my running vest.  He jogged back to give me some money - that really spurred me on!

So donate - I run faster!
