Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Sadly due to a hip injury which occurred in December running in the snow I have deferred my place in the 2011 London Marathon and will return to run in the 2012 London Marathon. In the meantime I continue various treatments to speed up my recovery and hope to have my trainers back on very soon.
Thank you for your patience, understanding and belief in my determination to complete the challenge. Although disappointed to resign from this year's race I still continue to fundraise for Guide dogs who's wonderful dogs offer freedom to the lives of blind people.
Being a guide person to a blind dog and photographer means each day I feel gratitude for the beauty and freedom my sight beholds. Caffrey was diagnosed with Glaucoma at 6 years old and had both eyes removed when she was 8 and has been an inspiration with her bravery and continued terrier zest for life (my little landrover!)
Thank you for your support.
Guide Dogs, Karen and Caffrey xx
