Tom and I will be doing our own Santa Stroll to raise money for Liverpool Hospitals NHS Trust.

It’s been a very difficult year for anyone admitted to hospital and I’ve seen firsthand what the impact of having items like iPads available to patients can have. People are able to face-time relatives, and this has been so important while visiting in hospital isn’t possible. Charitable funds allow items like these to be purchased for patient use.

Raising money for the hospital charity also helps support staff. We are working in unfamiliar circumstances, essentially witnessing a humanitarian crisis. The hospital charity supports initiatives which offer staff wellbeing services and these have been crucial in helping us keep going.
