As you all know I am running the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 23rd May this year.  Given that I will be pounding the streets for 26.2 miles (and probably about 5 hours with Debbie dragging me by the hair!) I thought I would do it for a good cause.  I have chosen to raise money for "Freinds of the Beatson".  The charity provides a much needed rest bite for patients at the Beatson Cancer hospital.  Cameron's aunt Belle enjoyed visiting the centre for a massage and pedicure.  Unfortunately Aunt Belle passed away last week and I would therefore like to dedicate my marathon to her memory.  Family members of our friends have also been treated there so I am sure you will agree it is a very worthwhile cause.
