At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future.

I'm raising money for my Auntie Pam.  As Peter Kay would say, 'she's not my real Auntie, she's just a friend of the family' but when I was growing up Pam and her husband Brett were so much more than just family friends. I remember spending school summer holidays at their house, and Mum and Pam in the kitchen always laughing. 

Its heart-breaking to see the decline in Pam in just a few short years, and the effect its had on her husband, daughter and granddaughters.
