As part of Jack FM's radiothon, a group of us at Opendoorz have taken up the £50 to £500 challenge. My contribution to the challenge is to make cookies - because I like baking but mainly because I love eating them!!

I am freshly baking chocolate chunk cookies (chips aren't big enough!) to order in exchange for a donation towards our challenge. This is a brilliant cause and the charity has helped many of our members and their families.

The cookies can have a combination of white, milk or dark chocolate chunks (or all 3!) and can be collected from OX4 3SA. Delivery may be arranged within OX4 or further afield if it is a large order/donation.

You may donate as much as you like but I would ask for a minimum of £5 for 5 of these cookies. Donations without cookies are also gladly received. 

The challenge is just one of the events for JACK's Radiothon 2021 is in aid of Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, and their 62 Bedroom House at the Oxford Children's Hospital. Providing free home-from-home accommodation to families whilst their child is in hospital, they ensure that parents are only ever minutes from their child's bedside. The House is equipped with 62 en-suite bedrooms, 8 kitchen and living areas, 4 laundries, an incredible garden and 24-hour support. Every penny raised will go towards helping keep families close.
