Story

For the wonderful, beautiful Bethany Williams. The brightest light that will never go out. We are hosting two Hopewalks in October for Papyrus. Our Hopewalks are in Horwich, Beth’s birth place and where she grew up and the second is in Wakefield near where she lived and worked for the last ten years of her short but bright life! Our aim is  to raise as much money as possible in memory of Beth.

We lost Bethany, aged just 26, in April 2019 - a significant loss to the whole family and to her friends and work colleagues. We are #TeamBeth and we will never forget our brightest star and beautiful girl. Beth was the kindest soul and we aim to help others always as she would want by raising awareness and helping others. Please join us at one of our walks. A donation isn’t compulsory to participate in our Hopewalk but it would be really kind if you would donate, any amount is wonderful

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide. Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, in 2018 over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINEUK. Every £5 raised can help pay for a life-saving contact to HOPELINEUK. Your donations really are lifesaving, thank you.
