Story

'Angel Boy' was composed in memory of my great-nephew, Iain.  He was cared for in The Royal Hospital for Children, 22nd-25th August 2021, where he sadly passed away, following a road accident.  This video recording is a fundraiser for GCHC who support, not only child patients of the hospital, but their families and the variety of wards in which children are cared for.  Staff in the hospital provide an invaluable service, support and level of care and this Angel Boy video, is a thank you to them and in memory of Iain.  A total of 38 incredible musicians and dancers from 4 countries have contributed to this recording, with all participants giving their time and skill free of charge.  The audio mix and arrangement was created by Alastair MacDonald, while the split screen video was edited by Addie Harper Jnr.  29 musicians and dancers come from Scotland, while Sweden, Canada and The USA are represented by 2, 3 and 4 respectively.  We really hope that you enjoy the video and are inspired to make a donation to the charity.  Thank you so much for watching.  We would also really appreciate if you share this post, to raise awareness of such a valuable charity.
