Karen's Camino de Santiago 125 mile Trek
Fundraising for Caudwell Children
Fundraising for Caudwell Children
Between the 17th - 26th April I will be walking 125 miles of the Camino de Santiago in northern Spain, with a group of friends connected to Abbotsholme school. We are fundraising for the school, but I am also supporting Caudwell Children, a charity close to my heart. All donations you make on this page will make a huge difference to the lives of many disabled children across the UK. Thank you for your support.
Why are we risking painful blisters and cold nights to complete such a challenging walk? Because 100% of the amount received by Caudwell Children goes directly to help children like Cameron. He has Cerebral Palsy and desperately needed a specialist trike. Although Cameron is unable to walk his new trike, provided by funds donated by people like you, means his daily physiotherapy is much less painful and a lot more fun.
The origins of the Camino de Santiago go back one thousand years and it was an important Christian pilgrimage route during the middle ages, all walking to seek forgiveness from St James, we are walking for our own personal reasons, I want to help make a difference to families across the UK.
All your donations are very much appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
