Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
When I was recovering from breast cancer surgery last year, Gwen lent me a book about someone who had walked the Camino over several months. It reminded me that this was something I had in the back of mind to do at some point. The book really encouraged me to feel stronger mentally and emotionally. The idea has become a reality on Thursday we set off to walk 100kn of the Camino in Portugal and Spain. We will start in Tui and then take it in stages to get to Santiago by the 10th. It will be quite a marathon for us all in different ways but we are well organised, thanks to Elaine who is brilliant at getting all the details together. Any money raised will be to support seated yoga session in day hospice, which my daughter Catherine is hoping to deliver. She will write something about the benefits of this later on but for now, thanks for looking at this and making a donation if you are able.
