Story
In February 2017 my then 19 year old son was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Following extensive Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatment he had an autologous
transplant in the summer of 2018. Unfortunately following a period of remission the lymphoma returned in 2021 and he underwent a subsequent donor transplant in September 2021 at the Christie Hospital in Manchester. He is thankfully doing well and getting on with living his life.
As a parent I’m enormously proud of him and would like to do my bit to help raise vital funds for Lymphoma Action to enable them to continue their good work.
Unfortunately due to an injury sustained last year, I was unable to participate in the 2022 London Marathon, so am now taking part on 23rd April 2023.
Thanks to all who donated last year. I am training hard and committed to crossing that finish line, albeit six months later than planned!
Any additional donations to my current Just Giving page would be very much appreciated and gratefully received.
Many Thanks
