I am taking part in this run on the 9th July, as we lost my 10 year old nephew Joey to brain cancer in November 2022. Seeing first hand how this illness affected him, his family and our wider family has made me want to do something and turn my grief into something positive. Being able to raise money for a charity that supports people with this diagnosis is something really important to me. The support from lots of people and organisations for my sister and her family on their journey was astounding. 

So this run is in memory of Joey.
