Story
Well, what a day! Fundraisers have targets, stretch targets and... plan C. The rain and cold, dodgy pacers, three weeks out with illness and plan C was achieved! I came in under 5 hours in 4h 57m 03s.
I have been amazed by the generosity of people who have sponsored me. I love you all! It's not so much about me doing daft stuff but much much more about raising money for Crisis to help bring about an end to homelessness. This is a cause I have been passionate about for so long (sadly). To my friends - I thank you from the bottom of my heart, to those anonymous donors, huge thanks to you too.
If you're passing through and haven't donated, the page will be open for a while yet and all money is very gratefully received.
Thank you!

What? Again? You might say! Yes, I'm running in the London Marathon to raise valuable funds for Crisis UK. There is a housing crisis, a cost of living crisis, crises everywhere many of them causing more and more people to face homelessness if they don't get help and fast. Crisis provides that help, directly on a one-to-one basis and through campaigning for changes to the laws of this land. I now work for a small, local charity (Hi there KCAH!) and I see the realities of homelessness on a daily basis. It's not nice, it's horrid, it's unnecessary and we must work to end this mess.
Please sponsor me, any amount will help. As I get older, this running lark is not getting easier so please show your sympathy! Or just laugh, but sponsor me anyway.
THANK YOU
