Story
I've decided to get involved this year to try and 'give back' to those that have helped us in so many remarkable ways. The HOSPICE is a truly miraculous organisation with love and care at its heart giving so many people so much comfort.
You may know my story only too well, but during the last 7 months my world was shattered with the discovery of my husband Nigel's Myeloma (bone marrow cancer).
Its been a very difficult time, but with the help of organisations like the HOSPICE we have had times of peace and great hope. Most who know me, know that I'm not such a sporty person, but it truly is incredible, the lengths you will go to help others who have helped you. The HOSPICE is a safe place where we go for respite and where we can see that not every hospital visit has to be filled with pain and fear. So, I'm getting my walking boots on, getting out at midnight, and walking those 8 pounding miles with others all who share a common yet unique story.
SO PLEASE DO HELP ME & DONATE FOR THIS LIFE ENHANCING ORGANISATION.
One thing that has been made clear to me over the months is that TIME is precious and quality of life for the TIME any of us has left is is vital for those in real need.
This is my time to begin to make a real difference. Love Karen x
