Story

I have chosen Once upon a Smile as this charity provides support to children and adults at a time when it is difficult to understand what is happening in the world. My brother Graham died when I was 9 and he was 11. He was the one I would follow everywhere, he was sporty, loved wildlife, was cheerful and friendlest person you could meet. As a very close, loving family, my parents and sisters often celebrate our love for him, share our stories and memories, laughing about the fun times we had together. The Charity Once Upon A Smile will give children and adults an opportunity to talk openly, in a supportive and caring environment about the ones they have loved and miss and help them find a way to move forward and make sense of the world in which we live.
