John & I two 50 + year old couch potatoes! in a moment of sheer madness thought we would like to give ourselves a challenge & raise some much needed money for our local hospital.

Our training has started in earnest! I just wish the weather would be a little kinder! so far we have had  frozen legs & feet, been rained on practicing our hills in the Trough of Bowland!!! but hopefully I will still be singing by the end of it!!!!  we are planning on doing the coast to coast 136 miles over 3 days  starting on 15th June in Whitehaven and finishing on the 17th in Tynemouth,

My friend & work collegue has been having treatment like so many other women & men for breast cancer & has had fantastic treatment & support at our local hospital that we would like to fund raise for them.
