Story

My good friend Celia and I used to run together about fifteen years ago, and the best effort I ever managed was a 10K run down at St Levan.  We started running again last year and as we weren’t as much worse as we’d feared, we decided we’d give this half marathon a go. I’ve always wanted to try, and to do it before I turn 60 (in many, many years), for a great cause, seemed like a worthwhile challenge.

Our motto is “we’ll just try”.

You can make a difference and help your hospices here in Cornwall to provide the support that is so needed in your community.Help us to provide the care, so that families can make the most of those treasured last moments for our patients, in St Julia's and Mount Edgcumbe Hospices.Just £20 will fund an hour of nursing care - let's see how many hours we can fund now.
