I am running the 10k to raise money for Cancer Research as I lost my lovely mum (Jean Cavanagh) to lung Cancer in May 2009.  Her 2 brothers Tony and Chic Conway (my uncles)  also lost their battle with the same lung Cancer a few years prior to my mum dying and I'm running for them to raise money to help with research which will hopefully help other Cancer patients and families in the future.   Cancer, we are coming to get you!!
