Sadly, the number of loved ones we lose to cancer continues to grow.  One in three of us will get cancer.  Two million of us are living with it.  We are all affected by cancer.

On Sunday 2 August I will ride the 100 miles of the London 2012 Olympic Road Race route.  I do so in the hope of raising as much money as I possibly can for MacMillan Cancer Support. 

MacMillan provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.  The long term hope is a cure will be found but, until that day comes, it's important for cancer patients and their families to know they don't have to face cancer alone.
