Story

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

I was privileged to work with the Daventry Memory Assessment Team for 8 years and was proud to work with the amazing team of doctors, nurses and support workers treating older people with dementia in the community with great care and respect.

I have recently retired and thought this would be an excellent way to keep fit and healthy at the same time taking part in this challenge supporting an amazing charity.

Thank you for your generous support - I hope I can make it!
