Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

I am running the London Marathon in memory of my cousin, Carol-Ann who died very recently aged just 41.  A warm hearted, bubbly women who is greatly missed by family and friends.  Her memory will live on through her husband, Mark and their two young children who she leaves behind.

In memory of Carol-Ann, I have chosen to raise money for SADS UK (Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndome) - The Ashley Jolly SAD Trust is a charity that helps to prevent premature loss of life and to improve the lives of those adversely affected by Cardiac Arrhythmia.

SADS UK can offer support to those who have experienced a SADS death or are living with a cardiac condition.  Your support will help SADS cover the costs of raising awareness, support bereaved families, provide monitoring equipment and help with research into SADS.

Please help me help SADS by sponsoring my 26.2 mile run around London...otherwise known as the 2010 Virgin London Marathon - Sunday 25th April.

Thank you.......Karen :0)x
