Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our Just Giving Page in Memory of Mum - Elizabeth Claydon who died on 16th April 2011 in the John Eastwood Hospice.
We want to raise money in Mum's memory as a small token of our appreciation of what the Hospice did for all of us.
A special thank you goes to Dr Finn, Dr Kat, Jo the MacMillan nurse, the ward nurses and all the volunteers, all of whom looked after mum and also all of us in her final days. A cup of tea was always waiting!
Mum requested a very private funeral with immediate family only and no flowers, this is our way of remembering her with extended family and friends being able to leave their own very personal messages.
Mum was there for all of us, Jan, Sue & John, John & Pauline, and Karen and I, Nan to Michael, Caroline, Lee, Dean, Gareth, Rhys, Jeremy, Matthew and Neil, and Great Nan to Naomi, Nathaniel, Joseph, Courtney, Jordan, Robyn, Faith, Joshua and Oscar.
The hospice depends on donations to be able to offer the fantastic service it does. The money we raise will go towards running costs and additional equipment that will make someone else's stay as comfortable as Mum's was.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks very much and please for Mum be generous.
