Story
Everyone close to me knows how much I love walking, and have taken on many walking challenges in the past, including a 22 mile walk in April 2018 and walking 165 miles throughout January 2019.
I have now decided to take on the 26 mile walk for Alzheimer's Society as I have never walked that far before in one go, and I have never raised money for this charity before. I know so many people who have lived with dementia, including my own Grandad. I have seen the impact it has on those around them, and felt the time was right to take part and raise money and awareness.
If you can spare anything towards this wonderful cause, I'd be so appreciative!
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
