I'm doing the  Butterwick Midnight Walk on 10th July.

The walk is six miles long and takes place in Stockton, the route is across the infinity Bridge, around the Riverside, crossing the Tees Barrage and finishing back at the Queens Campus.

All donations and sponsorship will go to The Butterwick Hospice and I have chosen The Butterwick Childrens Hospice as my preferred cause.

Butterwick House Children's Hospice provides day, respite and end of life care, family support, complementary therapies and bereavement care to families from Teesside, County Durham, North Yorkshire and Wearside.

Butterwick House is located in Stockton-on-Tees in the North East of England. The Hospice provides care and support free of charge to children with life limiting illnesses from birth to 18 years of age and supports their families.

Butterwick House is staffed by skilled and experienced professionals and trained volunteers. They work in partnership with families and other professionals involved in each child's care.

At Butterwick House the focus is on each child enjoying their stay while family members take a break from round the clock caring responsibilities.

In order to provide the services freely to the families in our care they need to raise funds. It will cost over £800,000 this year to ensure the children are able to enjoy all the facilities and care available at Butterwick House.
