Abi’s Million Step Challenge with friends to complete the 84 miles of Hadrian’s Wall between 22 – 28 June 2013

Abi, JC's four year old beagle, not only lost one of her owner's but he was also her best snoozing partner. We are all walking the wall with her to raise lots of money for the organisations that supported her Dad so well.

Cynthia Spencer Hospice at Home is the main charity that we have chosen to support as they were absolutely brilliant and they could not function without charitable donations. A small amount can make a real difference: just £21 would pay for 1 hour of vital one-to-one nursing support and £150 could fund a Hospice at Home nurse for a day.

About the charity

The Cynthia Spencer Charitable Trust funds staff & equipment at the Hospice that are not funded by the NHS, currently funding fifteen members of staff including Macmillan Nurses, In-Patient Nurses & the Chaplain. It also administers funds for the county-wide Hospice@Home & Occupational Therapy teams
