Story
I am part of a group of young people helping to raise money for Tearfund's work in Yemen.
Yemen is home to the worlds worst humanitarian crisis in the last 100 years.
They are currently fighting:
an epidemic (cholera),
a pandemic (covid-19),
a famine
and a war, all at the same time!!
With 24.1 million people (80% of the country's population of 28 million) in urgent need of humanitarian aid and 50% on the brink of starvation, they need our help now more than ever. Tearfund's partners in Yemen are working tirelessly in very difficult circumstances to reach those suffering the most. They are providing safe drinking water and food for vulnerable households, and improving access to healthcare and hygiene advice to reduce the spread of deadly disease.
A small group of us have challenged ourselves to cycle 100k in two weeks (which is around 7k every day) in order to raise awareness and money to allow this incredible work to continue.
Please support this cause in any way you can, whether that's by donating to one of our team, by taking part yourself, or even by simply raising awareness of the crisis.
