We provide help and support to improve the lives of psoriasis patients

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Karan (KD) Rai, I am a 25 year old from Herefordshire and I used to suffer from severe psoriasis. Psoriasis is an auto-immune disease which mistakingly attacks healthy skin cells and causes painful red, flaky, crusty patches of skin covered with silvery scales on the body..

It is a genetic disease that can be triggered by environmental factors such as stress. Most notably my father is also a severe psoriasis sufferer and I also have many family members on my mothers side of the family who suffer from the condition too.

Psoriasis affects around 2% of people in the UK and can happen to anyone at any age. The condition isn't contagious, so it can't be spread from person to person. Unfortunately, there is no cure for psoriasis.

I really appreciate your time and I would be so grateful if you could donate anything, no matter how big or small it can make a difference. Thank you.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
