Story

As most of you know I have had Ulcerative Colitis since the age of 16 which has been a pain in the bottom (in many ways) however in 2016 I was unfortunate to be one of the 5% who go on to be diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC ).

Since gaining this horrible condition I have decided that colitis and PSC won't stop me achieving goals and affecting what I do in life so I decided to start running to raise money for various charities. SO...

I  am taking part in The Vitality Big Half to raise vital funds for PSC Support.Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is a rare and poorly understood immune-mediated disease of the bile ducts. Symptoms can be severe and unpredictable, sometimes progressing rapidly to end stage liver disease, requiring a liver transplant.Everyone giving to PSC Support will help fund groundbreaking PSC research, taking us closer and closer to an effective treatment. Donations also enable PSC Support to support people affected by PSC through their online community, helpline, information days and high quality, up to date information about this complex and little-known disease.
