Story
Our perfect little boy, Killian, turns 6 this year. He won’t be here for presents or cake or balloons, but his memory will be.
I think about him every day. At work, on the golf course, watching a film.
When our baby died, I felt like no one got it, that no one understood.
Loosing a child means loosing a piece of who you are. It’s hard to rebuild with missing pieces, but we got help and support through Petals, the baby loss counselling charity.
I’ve never run a race this long before, but I know I’ll finish, because I’m running for Killian. And for all those parents who have involuntarily joined this club.
Anything that you could donate goes straight to the charity, helping them deliver vital support to bereaved parents who are starting this journey when they need it the most.
I am so grateful for anything you can give, and I know that the bereaved parents you help will be too.
I hope my little boy will be proud of us for doing this together.
