Story
On Sunday 2nd October 2022, I will be running the London Marathon with 30 other Luton Lions and thousands of other runners through the streets of the capital city.
We are fundraising for Children with Cancer UK with a collective team target to raise £60,000.
During the pandemic, there have been many businesses and sectors that have suffered, this includes the charity sector which relies on donations.
Khudael's Story
Khudael started his fitness journey in May 2018. Weighing more than 25 stone, he started to go to the gym and began to see results on the scales as well as feeling much better. He started running in September 2018 and seven months later, weighing 16 stone, he ran the London Marathon, a feat thought impossible just months before.
Since then, he has been complacent in his training and during the pandemic, he piled on the weight again and was working hard to run the 2021 London Marathon. Due to a sciatic injury, Khudael could not participate and is determined more than ever to be ready for the race in October.
Please donate what you can and support us on our journey to London!
Thank you.

Children with Cancer UK invest in childhood cancer research that would otherwise go unfunded. Only around 2% of cancer research funding in the UK* is spent on research that is fully dedicated to childhood and young adult cancer.
