Story
Exactly one year ago today our grandma/mother in law had a major stroke. At the time we weren’t sure she would even make it through the night. However with hard work, a lot of support and a good sense of humour (which she never lost😂) she has defied the odds and although her life has changed dramatically she is still with us.
We are doing this walk to raise vital funds to ensure the necessary research and community support is able to continue........
When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
