Story
As most of you know, when my younger sister Ema was 16 years old she was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia. Over the last six years she has received treatments such as chemotherapy, radiotherapy, donor lymphocyte infusions and spent a year of her life residing in the hospital undergoing a bone marrow transplant; none of which have been successful so far.
Just £250 for Leukaemia research can be put towards a whole day of medical science research to help make a difference in eliminating this disease; as a group we would like to raise £1500 which could be used for a whole week of major research to feel like we have had an input in stopping this and saving some lives.
On October 28th we are running half a marathon for this charity and we really need your help before then. This date will also mark the seventh year since my sister was diagnosed and by then i would have liked to have made a difference.
Anyone who knows Ema will say she is one of the bravest and most influenctial people they have ever met, she is an inspiration to us and this is the smallest donation we can give back.
Wish us luck!! #beatcancer @misskaleylou @Danny_Sykes_ @EdSilvester
