My father was registered legally blind in 2013, sadly losing his independence as well as his sight. However, when he was paired with a guide dog (Scooby, the beautiful black lab pictured above), I watched his life change in the best way. We cannot explain in words the difference Guide Dogs have made to us. Truly no donation is great enough to thank them for the incredible work they do (but please do ahead and try anyway!).

Every day, 250 more people join the 2 million already living with sight loss. This number is set to double by 2050, which is why the work Guide Dogs does is more important than ever before.
