Story

Kai Fox and Sam Evans are going to be completing the Goggins challenge, where they will run 4-miles, every 4-hours, for 48-hours to raise money for Alzheimer's Research UK and in memory of Kai's Grandma.

Kai's story:

Unfortunately dementia has caused quite a significant impact to my family's life. My grandma was diagnosed with vascular dementia when I was 6 years old and sadly passed away 12-years later. Over those 12-years I saw the impact and devastation that it caused to my family, by slowly losing a loved one. Therefore, I wanted to do my part by raising funding for research towards dementia, in memory of my Grandma and also in a pursuit to help her sister (Auntie Dot), who has also been diagnosed with Vascular dementia.

We have chosen this charity as it will help raise funds for researchers to embark on projects that will allow for the discovery of helpful medication to improve patients' quality of life and one day find a treatment.

We appreciate any donations or sharing of this just giving page! Thank you.
